Numbing cream is applied before treatment — you feel it but it’s not very painful. Skin may be red for 3–5 days afterward; some people return to work the very next day.

It depends on scar depth. Generally 4–6 sessions show a clear change, spaced 4–8 weeks apart so collagen can mature.
